Head coach of Karachi Kings and former Australian batsman Dean Jones did after a sudden cardiac arrest. He was in India for doing off-tube commentary on the IPL 2020.
He was known for his knock against India in Chennai, which led to draw the test match. He was considered on the best batsman in ODI through the 1980s and 1990s. The cricketing world was shocked after the sudden death of Jones.
Jones represented Australia in 52 tests and scored 3631 runs with an average of 46.55. He also played 164 ODIs and scored 6068 runs with seven centuries and 46 half-centuries.
He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2019. In 2007, the Australian cricket legend was also named in Australia’s “greatest ever ODI team.”
